Hair growth – and the science behind it
Hair loss* can have many causes – ultimately, hair loss at the end of the growth cycle is completely normal. The hair only becomes thinner when hair growth cannot keep pace with hair loss.
Hair loss has
several reasons
Thiocyanate deficiency
Thiocyanate is present in many involved in metabolic processes - also in the hair follicles.
Hormones
On hormonal changes in the body the hair roots can become sensitive react.
Nutrition
An unbalanced diet can affect your metabolism and therefore also your hair roots.
stress
Stress hormones can cause hair loss trigger.
Hypersensitivity
A general Hypersensitivity to these growth-disturbing influences.
Possible causes
"Hair loss*," says Prof. Kramer, "is usually caused by hypersensitivity of the hair roots to dihydrotestosterone (the body's damaging androgens). Other factors such as stress, malnutrition, and hormonal transitions also play a role.
A thiocyanate deficiency also significantly weakens the hair root. Additional thiocyanate supplied from the outside, however, activates and strengthens the hair root, making it less susceptible to these disruptive influences and detoxifying the radicals that inhibit hair regeneration.
