A shampoo against hair loss?

- A shampoo against hair loss has very little time to work.
- After washing your hair, it is a good idea to use a hair serum.
- The contact time of a hair serum is significantly longer.
- We recommend Thiocyn hair serum with patented thiocyanate active formula.
Shampoos against hair loss are becoming increasingly popular. The idea is that while the scalp and hair are cleansed, certain shampoo ingredients penetrate to the hair roots, where they work to combat hair loss.
The problem: rinsing out the shampoo
Using a shampoo to reduce hair loss and stimulate hair growth while washing your hair is a tempting idea. However, it raises a fundamental problem: The ingredients in these shampoos, such as caffeine, plant extracts, argan oil, etc., are washed out relatively quickly. A hair serum is generally better than a shampoo for hair loss—due to its much longer contact time. Nevertheless, there are several reasons to thoroughly and gently wash your head and hair before applying the hair serum.
The solution: First shampoo, then hair serum
With shampoo, we cleanse the scalp and hair of skin oils, remove dandruff and environmental pollution, residues from styling products, and inorganic salts. Without these obstacles, the hair serum can now more easily reach the hair roots. If the shampoo and hair serum contain the same active ingredient against hair loss*, all the better.
Thiocyn Hair Serum, like noreiz Skin Soothing Care Shampoo—also from Thiocyn—contains the active ingredient thiocyanate. Thiocyanate, a primordial molecule, is multitalented: It binds irritants and soothes the skin, while also stabilizing cell metabolism at the hair root, thus normalizing the hair cycle.
Scalp and hair belong together
Hair, as a skin appendage, is an evolutionary development of the skin. The scalp contains hair follicles in which hair is anchored. At the end of the hair root, the hair follicle forms a bulbous growth, the hair bulb. The hair follicle's matrix contains the Hair growth The keratin cells of the hair matrix are pushed upwards, forming the hair, which emerges from the skin in the funnel of the hair follicle.
All substances that enter the scalp also reach the hair follicles and each individual hair. For optimal cellular metabolism in the skin and hair follicles, it relies on thiocyanate. Thiocyanate is not an invention of modern chemistry, but a natural molecule that has accompanied the emergence of life from the very beginning.
For men and women
With the daily use of Thiocyn Hair Serum, the special care for hair loss* and thinning hair, the contact time of the Thiocyanate with the hair roots or scalp is significantly extended.
Grow your hair gently
How we wash our hair definitely affects the quality of the entire hair coat. If we gently massage the shampoo into the hair and scalp and rinse thoroughly, the hair and the delicate hair follicles will cope very well.
Since women typically wear their hair longer, they have to wash their heads very carefully to avoid tangling. The same applies to drying their hair. "Tousling" would place unnecessary mechanical stress on the hair. Women prefer to wrap their hair in a towel. The terry cloth absorbs the moisture on its own. The hair doesn't tangle. Brushing results in less hair loss.
Men with short hair are more likely to "rub" their hair when washing it. If you rub it vigorously while drying it, the hair is more likely to break or even be pulled out from the roots.
