Cow spit against hair loss?

- Thyocianat is found in abundant amounts in cow saliva.
- Additional thiocyanate can help normalize the hair cycle.
- Frequent hair washing removes the body's own thiocyne from the scalp and leads to a deficiency.
- This deficiency can be compensated by regular external addition of thiocyanate.
What initially sounds strange actually has a solid scientific basis. And nature is still the best healer after all. You just have to decipher it – as a young medical student did back then. Cow spit for hair loss has now become a sought-after, patented formula.
How it all began…
The young medical student was Axel Kramer. While on vacation in Lithuania, he observed a farmer letting a cow lick his bald head. As the inquisitive researcher he already was at the time, he asked why: Cow spit was good for hair loss, was the local's surprising reply. The young scientist listened with great interest and promptly took a sample of the cow spit home with him.
Cow spit – what’s on it, what’s in it?
Back in Germany in the laboratory, the scientist analyzed the sample and discovered something remarkable: cow saliva contains an exceptionally high concentration of a molecule called thiocyanate. Thiocyanate is a simple yet elementary molecule with the structural formula SCN = sulfur, carbon, nitrogen. Just like water and oxygen, it has accompanied biological evolution from the very beginning!
What does thiocyanate do in cow spit?
Gradually it became clear: Different enzymes react with thiocyanate This creates highly effective antimicrobial compounds to ward off potential pathogens. This effect is extremely important for cows, which graze all day long and ingest a lot of foreign matter, especially biomass, with their mouths. But this is just one of thiocyanate's capabilities.
Thiocyanate – a flexible all-rounder
In over 30 years of basic research, Prof. Dr. Kramer has gathered numerous pieces of evidence that thiocyanate is an essential component of cellular metabolism in all mammals, including humans. In other words: Thiocyanate is essential wherever body substance is built or maintained. This naturally also applies to the hair roots, where hair growth occurs.
In the course of further research, Prof. Kramer realized that supplemental thiocyanate could help normalize the hair cycle. Unlike other active ingredients, some of which interfere with cellular metabolism through hormones and can also cause undesirable side effects, thiocyanate is a substance produced naturally by the body that supports and reactivates hair growth.
Why there is often a thiocyanate deficiency in the hair roots
If the body produces thiocyanate itself, why would additional thiocyanate be necessary? Thiocyanate deficiency is often found on the scalp, specifically at the hair roots. One key reason for this is, among other things, current hygiene standards.
Frequent hair washing not only removes sebum, skin particles, and salts produced by sweating, but also valuable thiocyanate, which is water-soluble and washed out of the skin and hair. Regular external application of thiocyanate can compensate for this deficiency.
Thus, cow saliva and a gentle massage with the cow's tongue help against hair loss and can thus promote hair growth...
The better alternative: Thiocyn hair serum
For those who want to avoid cow's tongue but not thiocyanate, there is now a much more convenient solution: In collaboration with Prof. Kramer, the Thiocyn research laboratory has spent over three years developing a hair serum with thiocyanate based on its research.
Thiocyn Hair Serum is a special treatment for hair loss* and thinning hair. Its key ingredient is the patented thiocyanate active formula, which is optimally tailored to the needs of the scalp. It strengthens hair roots and protects them from growth-disrupting influences, for both men and women – completely cow-free.
